Matthew 18:18, King James Version

18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Early morning, like 2am-ish. Walking along, praying in the spirit, and listening to something of Kevin Zaidi’s that came up on my Facebook a few hours earlier…..

I’ve never listened to any of his teachings. Even though I follow his social media. I just have so many I regularly listen to and don’t have time for them all. But, this one was on dreams and that subject always catches my eye.

I’ve always said that “pray without ceasing” is one of the most important verses in the Bible. IT IS. There are many little ‘prayer points’ that I’ve learned along the way though that seem to unlock new ‘levels of results’. Here, he mentioned Matthew 18:18.

It was so completely obvious when he mentioned it, I don’t know why myself and every other person who prays spiritual warfare prayers doesn’t think of it…..

So, when we say things like “we bind every demon and devil in charge of this situation with ropes aflame with Holy Ghost fire and render their powers null and void and throw them into the pit, and never let them return”, and follow with releasing angels for protection, etc, we know it’s done, right?

He put emphasis on the loosing part, and reminded everyone to loose their blessings. (Remember, the subject of the teaching was dreams. And dreams most times alter destiny, which is stealing your blessings!). WHAT. I’ve prayed to send my blessings, I’ve prayed for my blessings no longer to be blocked and seen a LITTLE bit of progress but not nearly enough, etc. But no, not before then had I prayed “I loose every blessing the enemy has been holding back from me, I command it unbound and given back to me as many times as is written in the word of God that it is due me, every demon in charge of blocking these blessing is bound in ropes aflame with Holy Ghost Fire and thrown into the pit never to return”. Picked back up praying in the spirit, and finished walking doggie.

About an hour later I was doing a workout and happened to get a message from someone. A very random message that could indeed be an answer to one of the main things I’ve been praying about. (The wrong people to leave my life, the right ones to enter, and me not to be fooled by the devil’s angels of light).

Later that day I was doing some errands and saw someone I hadn’t seen in years. I didn’t even remember the old dude, he asked me if I was who he thought I was, I said “yes, but how do I know you”…… And in the short conversation that followed I was able to mention God to him, if ever so slightly. Just to plant a seed. (Me having more opportunities for this and realizing them in the moment they happen rather than after the fact is another of the things I pray for. Also me not only realizing this but making sure I follow through and do it even if it doesn’t seem like the person will want to hear it, or worrying if they will get mad, or if someone around will be offended, etc.)

A little while later I was doing my last errand of the afternoon and there was a woman who asked me about my makeup. Like the third person of the day to mention it, so at first I disregarded it. It’s an every-day thing to hear it looks nice, it usually just goes in one ear and out the other. I’ve stopped listening to it years ago. But this lady went on to ask where to buy the glitter, and I had bought some right in that very store we were in, so I told her that. (She was an employee of the place). She asked me to show it to her, so I did and told her she needs liquid eyeliner to stick it there and all that. Then I paid for my things and left.

I often leave Bibles around town, or give them to homeless people, sometimes even stick them in neighborhood mailboxes. I was about to leave on on the walkway of this particular store when God told me to bring it inside to the lady. …..She HAD been wearing a witch-hat for Halloween, which I noticed and didn’t like but ignored. So she most likely needed it. She also had a voice that the minute I heard it reminded me of a friend who moved away. Like, if it was over the phone, I would have believed this lady was my friend because she sounded JUST LIKE HER. So, I was at first like “God, you’ve gotta be kidding. She was wearing a witch-hat, she’ll get pissed. Also she might get in trouble cuz she’s working and it’s a Bible”. But, go big or go home. And, it was yet another thing I’d been praying about answered, IF I listened. (Get guts about doing things like this in public rather than just one-on-one. Alone with a person I’ll say and do whatever, but sometimes in a crowd I just don’t want to deal with it, and there’s many reasons for this. Shyness is the least of it, it’s not really that. So it’s not that easy to get over this obstacle. Maybe it’s demons? Like oppression? Not sure.)

So I go inside, with the Bible. I put a gift card in it before I went inside, so I knew she’d like at least part of it. She was right inside the door and we made eye contact. She was headed to get another customer something, but detoured to me. We spoke for a second, and I just said “here, you’re working hard, you deserve this”. I MYSELF didn’t say it. The Holy Spirit used my voice and said it. I’ve had it happened before, and trust me you can tell when that’s happening. She at first didn’t want to take it, but then he eyes lit up and she was like “is that a Bible!?” And she said “I read that every day”. So I was like yes, it is. And sincw you already read it you know it’s a good book to read, right? And you can never have too many, and if you already have plenty you can also give it to someone who doesn’t have one”. She happily took it and leaned over and said THANK YOU and hugged me in front of everyone. I just smiled, hugged back, and said “you’re welcome, have a good holiday”. Not cuz I approve of her Halloween thing, but it was a nice thing to say and being nice will assure her continued reading of the Bible and the paper I put inside it. Which will hopefully open up her eyes that God is supernatural.

And that was just day one after praying to loose my blessings…..
