29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

Due to the strong witchcraft being projected at me lately (see the ‘Unrealistic’ posts), I have decided to start fasting. A few spirits have got to go. I am so done dealing with bullshit by jealous men who practice witchcraft and think it’s a joke……….

So……….the week before last was the first time I tried fasting. Have been praying on how to do it without my blood sugar going too low and still get enough protein, and low and behold the answer was in a video teaching by Kevin LA Ewing.

I did a short fast two days in a row, with a few specific prayer requests being prayed for during this time. A few I have gotten led to partial answers about, and had dreams about, but I have to fast again and get clearer answers on those. One though, got answered in the craziest way……….

I was praying the spirit of poverty off me, as it seems to want to stick around and there’s no way in hell I’m living that way. I have a light at the end of that tunnel, around the first of the new year in fact, and I don’t plan to lose all before then, no frickin way. My motto lately is ‘I do my best, and God provides the rest’. And so far, so good.

At the end of that week I did my first fasts, I had thought all was going to shit in that department of my life, and I saw the disaster I (thought) would have to be dealt with come the beginning of the new week.

The beginning of the week came, and as I was walking outside to go to work that Monday morning, I was praying for it to be cleared up by a miracle. As I opened my car door to put my work bags inside, I had a thought pass through my head – one of those words of knowledge from the Holy Spirit. It said “deal with the small stuff first, and the rest will follow”. A feeling of happiness and peace followed, a long with a plan of what to do, which proved who it was sending the message. All this happened in about a ten-second time span. Then after work I went to look into what I thought would need to be dealt with, but it had been taken care of. Well, temporarily. It’s not yet solved, but I do believe it’s now manageable if I follow the Holy Spirit’s advice until my resources are back to what they once were, which won’t be long now……….
