Running along this morning doing a workout I had a weird dialogue download in my head. Me talking with someone I know (not well), telling him the secret to making people listen to you. In a professional atmosphere, I’m talking about. How to make people hang on to your every word, how to make them WANT to please you. When you’re, say, the boss.

It was definitely Holy Spirit telling me this. Giving me encouragement to keep going, maybe, as I was bitching to myself not much earlier about how I wish I was wired to be like those lazy people who lay in bed ’til the last minute and as a result look like hell but they for some reason, DON’T CARE. (Yeh right, I could NEVER. It’s a nice thought sometimes but that’s as far as that one will every get around here……….).

Anyway in my head I was telling this guy that the secret to making people listen is just two things:

•be nice

•look good

That thought had me excited to get home and share it with more than just the imaginary-conversation-person in my head. Because guess what………. IT’S TOTAL TRUTH! And whoever needs to hear it I sure hope you see this. I know I needed to hear it for my near future and that’s why Holy Spirit told me.

Below is my effort at looking good lately. (Don’t mind the t-shirt look, I was just home from work). I take Sunday off, the other six days I alternate running and weights. It doesn’t take much to make a big difference. Be inspired, you!
