So……….a short but sweet note here! The other day there were a few things going on at work. Well, they still are. But I was in a MOOD, and that means a mood to say something if the chance arose, cuz it had been needing to be said! In a couple of different situations, actually. So I was praying about it, obviously.

When I got to work I went to put my bags down right where I always do, and was saying a last-minute prayer for the Holy Spirit to take over my mouth for me if any of these conversations came about that day. One being a guy who is extremely hateful and I’m sick of dealing with his nasty attitude, another being someone who likes to argue about anything and everything, not meaning any harm, but it wears on me even though he’s supposed to be a friend and I like the guy quite a bit. So as I was in my bag getting out what I’d need that morning, I had a thought come across my mind that I hadn’t looked in the Bible for a verse to answer a question in a bit. So, being as that seemed like the Holy Spirit urging me to do so, I opened my Bible I keep in there. And what do you know? It opens to a page and I got the thought ‘just start at the top’. So, I did………see photo of the first verse, below, (Luke 12:12), that the Holy Spirit led me to!

And by the way, yes, he did help me with one of the situations, which was the only one that came up that day. I was having a conversation with the one who’s a friend, and a subject came up I knew he’d love to make an argument about. I said in my head ‘Holy Spirit, take over’!, and all of a sudden something I sure as shit didn’t think of on my own came out of my mouth. It was totally relevant, took the guy by surprise – he looked shocked for shit – and avoided one of his idiotic debates that I so wasn’t in the mood for. It also put a few pieces of the puzzle that is him together for me. WIN!
