Romans 16 17-20, King James Version

¹⁷ Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

¹⁸ For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.

¹⁹ For your obedience is come abroad unto all men. I am glad therefore on your behalf: but yet I would have you wise unto that which is good, and simple concerning evil.

²⁰ And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

I am feeling down. So down, just so fucking DONE. Before getting my lazy ass out of bed this morning, I scrolled Facebook while I was waking up. I saw that red image above, and was like yes, that’s just what I need to start doing. I said a prayer then for a certain situation that has me more sad than I’ve been……….ever. Then I asked for a Word to help me through it and opened my Bible to those above verses. Confirmation of what I suspected, unfortunate as it is.

(I love how accurate this little eight-ball trick of mine is though. Yeh, I call it that even though there’s no eight-ball and it’s no trick. It sounds good and is a good analogy for the world to understand what I mean when I’m explaining it to them).

I was also told by my sister to leave the whole situation unless someone of the problems reached out first, whether that be the main issue or the secondary issues that coincide with that person, but it’s not in my nature to do so. I did recently decide to do this though, and sent off a final getting-even letter, which ought to have been received by now. It’s true Satan is the cause of this mess, but some people should be strong enough to resist him and not cave. I am, and those around me need to be on the same page, not fall for his wiles and let him sow division in what could and should be lifelong friendships. If and when they can handle living right, I’m right here. If not, they can fuck right off, others can and will replace them, and soon by the sounds of that Word!
